Kathy's Tablerunners

Kathy Paridise bought one yard of this batik and 1/2 yards of three others and some black.
She then pieced these three tablerunners. The purple one is in progress. Isn't it cool how they are three different colors?
She had enough left over to piece this one, which is in the binding stage.
It made me want a yard of that fabric!

Happy Holidays

A lot of really cool table toppers are being made from the Happy Holidays Pattern from Atkinson Designs. You've seen the fall version and others on here, and now here is a Halloween one done by Mary Collari. Click it to see better.
She also made this Christmas version.
Here is still another take on that pattern. Vicki Wilder decided to make nine of them and put them together to make a quilt top! She used very Cape Cod-nautical colored fabrics.
What fun!!

Quilts

Marlene Sexton made this quilt and Laurie Laconte quilted it. I love the pink and black combination.
Pat Squeglia made this crisp blue and white quilt, which was also quilted by Laurie.
The quilting really shows up on the white. Very nice!
Sandy Checklick made this Sunbonnet Sue quilt for her friend Mary Ellen's grandchild. Laurie quilted it for her.

New Kaffe Fabric!

We received a lot of Kaffe fabric yesterday!
I love Kaffe fabric!!
Look at all the color variations in these dotted fabrics!
The colors are great!

Look at this pile of new and older Kaffe fabric! It would make the perfect summer throw quilt to curl up on the couch with after a day at the beach.
This pile of fabric is very rich and elegant looking.
The ideas are just flowing! I want to make something!!

Fabric

I thought I'd show you some of the fun fabrics that have arrived in the past couple of weeks. Starting with Maxine! The BLAH! fabric is a must have for everyone's black and white collection, I think!
We now have hearses, trees, more hearses, and owls for Halloween.
Tufted Tweets has arrived (except purple, that's coming soon).
I've started a quilt using these lime and blue colors.
More batiks have come in.
And more batiks.
And more batiks.
We never seem to have enough owls. We needed more.
Echino scooters and coordinates are always good!
So is pink and orange scooters and bikes.
There's more, come see!

Katie's Quilt

Katie's quilt is beautiful! It's finished, except for the binding and it's awesome! It's very calm, beachy feeling.
This is the BACK! She pieced the back and it's like another quilt!
It was machine quilted by Laurie LaConte. She did a sea shell border along one edge and another design over the rest.
I love it!!

Mostly Tablerunners

Stephanie made this version of the tabletopper. The way she used the border strip around the outer edges and in the center part looks really great!
Elaine has been awfully busy making tablerunners to give as gifts throughout the year.
What a good idea! There's so many different ones to make.
I always say I'm going to make things ahead of time and be prepared, but I never seem to do that.
JoAnne made this blue and yellow quilt. Very nice!
She also made a couple of pillowcases to match.
Katie has a blog here where she is doing her first giveaway and invites everyone to click over to check out her blog and maybe win something. She has been busy creating and perfecting patterns for knapsacks.
