Quilt Show

If you can get to the Crazy Quilters of Cape Cod Quilt Show tomorrow (Saturday) do so! There's a lot of great quilts there, something for everyone's taste!
Here's a sampling, starting with this Postage Stamp Quilt made by Linda Creed! That's a lot of tiny squares!

This next one was made by Susan S. Berteaux for a wedding gift!

Cynthia Macdougal made this labor of love!  That's a lot of tiny circles to appliqué!!  The pattern for this one was in a Fons and Porter Magazine.

Sherri Delmonico made this multi colored quilt!  I love the use of the orange in this one!
Eileen Crawford's made this quilt for her Granddaughter, Grace, using a pattern from Kaffe Fassett's Glorious Patchwork book.  I just love his fabrics!

More tomorrow!

Debbie's Update

Right outside the front door of Tumbleweed, in the wisteria, is a bird nest with three baby robins in it!

They are adorable!  Standing at the cash register is the best view and is quite entertaining.  The Mom and Dad are constantly swooping in and out of the nest to bring food and you sometimes feel like you need to duck when you catch their movement out of the corner of your eye.
Speaking of new babies, Debbie Zeida is now a Grandmother!  James Paul Symes Zeida was welcomed into the world on 6/21/12!!  This is one of the quilts that Debbie had ready for him!
Everyone in the Zeida family has the "Red Sox Fan Gene" in a big way so this quilt is perfect for him!

Meanwhile, back at the shop Debbie's students have been busy in classes!  Toni made this double wedding ring block and had it framed for a gift!

Barbara Winiaski has been piecing away and getting things done in Jo Morton Club!

What a difference a border makes!!

Mary Ellen Streeter made this stripy Jo quilt!

Kelly Littleton-Wisse finished this one!

Kelly also made a bright colored one!

Quilts

Ellie brought in this quilt top to show us and also to pick out a border.  Some child is going to love this!
Charlotte had this finished wallhanging to show everyone in Studio Club last Thursday!

Kathryn bought 1/3's of a "bunch" of floral Westminster fabrics - here's what she did so as to not waste even a scrap of fabric - she made giant hexagons for one quilt, she made yo-yo's for second quilt and she cut 2 1/2 inch strips for a pattern she saw in a jelly roll book!
Willie participated in the 2012 AQS Mystery Quilt and here is here result!  Mystery solved!

Harry Potter

Connie Tessier brought in this AMAZING quilt that she designed, made and also quilted!
All of the blocks were individually designed and paper pieced by Connie and each column represents one of the Harry Potter books.

She has a website here where her patterns are available!
