Nancy's

Nancy Harmon's granddaughter, Kerrin Hanna, showed us the quilt she made this summer to take back to college!

She used pieces of t-shirts, work shirts, and other clothing to make this fun throw!

Nancy Harmon's great niece, Kayleigh Nawrocki, is holding a pillow she made!  This is her first attempt at sewing and cutting!  Great job Kayleigh!

Quilts

We are sad to hear that Helen is closing Heartbeat Quilts after all these years!   Helen and I go way back, since before she opened her store.  Having Heartbeat and Tumbleweed on the Cape all these years made it like a year round shop hop for our customers and everyone will miss that!  We wish her all the best!

Ruth acquired this beautiful old quilt somewhere in her travels!  She finds good things!

Donna brought in her yo yo quilt recently!  It was made by her Mother and has a lot of Donna's clothes from high school and earlier that she recognizes!  What a treasure!
The seventies seems to be represented in this star top!  Midge is going to finish it for a friend of hers that doesn't quilt.

At the Crazy Quilters Quilt Show last week they showed and talked about a lot of antique quilts.  This was one of them.

A closer look!

Catherine Griffin made this Halloween quilt from a Crabapple Hill pattern!

Joan Carpenter used a Sandy Bard pattern to make this quilt!
