Monday Morning

There's a lot going on in the classroom on Mondays!  Barbara had this quilt to show us recently!

Mary Collari keeps plugging along on her Christmas hexagon quilt!  It seems like it's taking forever, but don't be fooled, she's done about four of them!

Dot Mitchell's daughter wanted a chevron quilt in shades of gray and Dot made this for her!

This is another of Dot's finishes!

JoAnne has completed this quilt made with thirties fabrics!

Baby Quilt

My daughter wanted me to make a baby quilt for another of her friends expecting a baby girl!  She requested pink and gray with animals but keep it simple, just squares.  So, this is it!

She also requested minkee on the back!  Actually she requests that for just about all the quilts for her or her friends!  It's so cozy and soft!! She was very happy with the pink and white print minkee!

We do have the fabric at the shop!  It is part of the Zoology line from Michael Miller.

We also recently received these Michael Miller fabrics!

Quilts!

There is a "cut" on the outer beach in Nauset that inspired Jo DelNegro from Orleans to make this wallhanging.  This is the "center channel" of a 3 piece unit. Still to be constructed are dunes and tide pools to be placed on each side!

Paula Tuano made this fabric portrait of an Indian man!  She originally painted him way back in 1976 and now she copied it in fabric!

Paula also brought in this wallhanging to show us!  It is the result of a "playtime with a brush" exercise done in a Katie Pasquini workshop!

Joanne Hanson made this memory quilt with clothing from a woman when she was in the peace corps in Benin, Africa.  She met her soon-to-be-husband there and this quilt is their wedding gift from Joanne!

Quilts

Willie finished her Gypsy Wife quilt!  It's awesome!  There is some much color to look at!

What a fun quilt!  Perfect for giant Kaffe Fassett flowers!

Mary Collari has finished her Christmas dresden plate quilt!  Click on the picture to see it better!  There's all kinds of Christmas prints with candy cane sashing!

Jeanne Carey was layering this bedrunner this week!  It will brighten up someone's bed or if you have a Downton Abbey sized table it could work as a tablerunner.

Kathy Doughty's new book has arrived!  Come in and have a look!

Wild Blooms by Wendy Williams is also here!  She combines wool and cotton fabrics for bright cheerful projects!

Debbie's Quilts

Debbie brought in some of her Jo Morton Quilts to show her class and I took pictures of them so you could see them too!

They have lots of very small pieces of fabric in them!

A blue and white quilt has been on my list to make for a long time!  One of these days I will get around to making one.
Enjoy!

Rhiannon made this memory quilt for a friend of the parents!

Carol Antis made these tribute quilt in honor of her nephew.

She made them for her nephew's wife and children.

Here's the back!  It would would look great with leggings!

Beverly Szen and Donna Mellor made this t-shirt memory quilt for Donna's son!

Ann McKinney made this signature quilt with William Morris Fabrics!

The Studio Club ladies made this quilt for Sue Campbell in appreciation for all the years she has taught and continues to teach them!
