Quilts!

Alicia brought in this "Nancy Drew" quilt that she designed so she could pick out border fabric.

So cute!  and brings back lots of memories!

This quilt was pieced by Bertha P. McLaney in the 1930's.  It was completed by Eva H. Need in March 2014!

Kathryn and Stephanie collaborated on this "Cracker Box" quilt which was machine quilted by Marjatta Gladding!

Melanie Woods made this king size quilt for her mom and dad!

She quilted it herself and it is her 2nd quilt!  What a nice gift!

Quilts by Trish and Terry Currey

Trish Currey made this Moon Over The Bay quilt in a workshop in Falmouth!

Trish also made this Jo Morton quilt!

Trish made this one and didn't like the border she used so it sat for a while until she found another fabric to replace the original one!

Terry Currey (Trish's Mom) showed us her latest finishes, this one for a girl going off to college, and

this one for her mailman who is retiring!

The class description is:
The Modern Wedge is an exciting workshop opportunity for beginners to advanced, art quilters and
traditional quilters.  The workshop focus is on creative use of the wedge shape, exciting use of color
and a variety of design options.  By changing size, layout or use of color, we learn to move the eye and imagination around the quilt.

Pictured here are some of her examples of wedge quilt design!
