Disappearing Hourglass

Kathryn Butterworth made this disappearing hourglass quilt and brought it in to show us!



 Debbie would be happy to show you how to do it in one of her classes!  Here is a small sample made with batik fabrics.

Quilts By Melissa Averinos

This month we have work by Melissa Averinos hanging on display!

Melissa is a longarm quilter and one of her quilts that you can see here on her blog just won an award in Quilt Con last month!
These ladies are painted and thread painted!  They are small with a lot of stitches, so come in and take a look to see them better!


This is one of Melissa's improv quilts!  Love the color!!

I couldn't get a straight-on photo of this big  one!  It's huge with a lot of machine quilting on it!  Come in to see it!

Joan Sullivan made this scrappy quilt!

Jen Cullum made this quilt for her 10th anniversary and had it quilted by Melissa Aviernos!  

Claire made this quilt top and had it quilted by Maryanne Bowman!

There are birds in the quilting!  Spring is coming!!

Kelly Nelson made this scrappy spider web quilt!  Fun!

She also made this scrappy quilt!  This one was made using memory clothing.

Sue Moore brought in this blast from the past to show us!  This was from one of our Block of the Month series that we did around 2002!  That's one UFO crossed off Sue's list!

Shirley Sawyer brought a few finished quilts to show us!  First a king size quilt she made for her sister!  
She made pillow shams and pillows to match!


She made this baby quilt and a sailboat pillow that is shown in the picture below!

Emma's First Quilt!

Emma is a very new quilter who has completed her first machine pieced quilt!!
