Pink Tree

I finished my tree skirt for my pink tree.

I really like it!

Let's see, we got in some Westminster "Liberty" fabric. Really cool! Carol will be teaching a Landscape Class on Tuesday, Dec. 15, from 1:30 to 5. There is some room in the class for those of you who want to take it before Carol retires. I believe there's a couple of people coming on Monday from 1:30 to 5 to Open Sew to make Amy Butler's Gumdrop Pillows. If you are interested, please come. If you are not interested, come anyhow and hang out with other people finishing projects, Christmas or whatever.
Laurie stopped in this week and showed us this quilt, which will be totally done and raffled off tomorrow at the Unitarian Church Fair Haven to some lucky winner.
Tricia will definitely be done with this wallhanging by Christmas! I love the wavy part on the top and bottom.

More Christmas Stuff

This is a picture of the top of the book shelf in my sewing room with a couple of Christmas additions for the festive holiday season.

On the top of this shelf unit, also in my sewing room, the clear head has on it's Santa hat. It does like to have the right hat for the occasion.
Sheryl Walsh makes Christmas stockings. The top is personalized with the name done in cross stitch and holiday trimming. She makes about 24 each year.
Carol Ayotte made this ornament wallhanging or tabletopper.
Another shelf in my sewing room. I think that's about it for Christmas decorations in my sewing room except for my big pink tree. I'll have a picture of that as soon as I finish the tree skirt for it. Until then, I'll have to move to another room for pictures.

Mary Ann Karpinski stopped in on her way to meet friends for a Quilters' Weekend at The Inn at Lewis Bay. She's working on this Hawaiian Hot Flash quilt.
Mickie made new Christmas stockings this year. Apparently her husband thought theirs were too big. Personally, I think the bigger they are, the better. I love the way she stitched on the top to make it look fluffy.

This is Erin's first quilt ever!! A Thomas quilt for her great nephew. He's going to love it!

Pat S. came to Barbara's Machine Applique class and made great progress on her Santa Wallhanging.

Rhiannon is making this quilt as a Christmas present for her boyfriend. He's going to love it!
Valerie Ward has finally finished this hand embroidered and appliqued bedspread.
It shows Robinson Crusoe's Island.
This has been a 40 year project and now it's done! Congratulations Val!

This is another tree in my sewing room.

It mostly has lime green ornaments, but a few colors sneak in here and there. Like the purple bird and the pink bird. There seems to be a lot of birds around for decorating with this year.
"Melvin" the turkey is one turkey that is safe from Thanksgiving worries. He belongs to Joan Kenneally.
Priscilla White thought this fall Thimbleberries quilt was a wallhanging, but she'll be snuggling under it.
Betsy Clark is working on a snuggly quilt for some lucky recipient.
