Katherine Butterworth showed us a couple of quilt tops she has finished! This one in shades of gray and greenish colors,

and this bright one using Kaffe fabrics!
Audrey Ward was in to get fabric for the back of this one for one of her Great-Great Grandsons!
Jean Hardiman found this double wedding ring quilt top in New Hampshire and is finishing it! She was staying at the Cape Point Hotel with the "Brown Baggers" for a quilting retreat weekend!
Cathy McGrath brought this beautiful quilt to show us! She made it using silk fabric. She was on the Cape for a visit while staying at the Radisson in Plymouth with the "Red Barn Quilters" for their retreat weekend.
This courthouse steps quilt was made by Jean McIntyre. Pretty Spring colors!
Lynn Conroy made rubbings of the "Barnstable Boat" from a headstone in Lothrop Cemetery in Barnstable using paintsticks. Then she made a tablerunner with them. The boats are great!

On our display walls this month we are featuring wallhangings made by Marie Spadaro!

Marie is offering a class on Wednesday, February 15, from 10-1 to make a wallhanging of your own. It's easy fusible appliqué and a lot of fun!!
A nice Spring wallhanging would be great gift or add some sparkle and brightness to your own home!

Willie's Latest

Willie has finished her wool quilt!! It took awhile, it's all hand stitched!

Willie's daughter's kitty, Franny, has a love for Birdie Sling bags. Kate had to check her bag for a kitty before leaving her apartment.
So Willie made Franny her own Birdie Sling bag to get cozy in! Of course! Maybe I'll try crawling into one of Willie's bags to see if she makes one for me! Franny loves it!
This is another quilt Willie made recently using Moda fabrics.
Amt Butler's Charm Clutch is really cute! Willie made this one for you to see at the store. You'll want to make one for yourself!

Misc.

Willie and Nancy wasted no time using the new Moda fabric! Willie made this baby quilt and Nancy made pillow cases! Don't they look great? So nice and bright!

I made this baby quilt! Started and finished in a week! It has cute dog fabric on the back.
I was inspired by these delicious looking fabric packs from Timeless Treasures called Creamsicle. One pack has 5 inch squares, which I used straight from the pack, and the other pack has 2 1/2 inch strips, which went around the center squares. Quick and easy! Not much cutting involved using these precuts!
We received The Lorax fabric from Robert Kaufman today!
I love it when I can make a baby quilt and buy a book to go with it to give as a gift!

These 30's prints from Robert Kaufman arrived today, too!
Everyone is loving our new 95 cents a yard fabric table!! That's right, 95 cents! The fabric is not perfect, but it's surprising how much of it unrolls looking perfect. Sometimes it's easy to see the imperfections but a lot of the time it's hard to see anything wrong with it. Check it out for yourself!

Congrats!

The new Quilting Arts Magazine is out and it has a nice article on the Coastal Quilt Artists, headed up by Bobbie Sullivan!

The article tells about them making "slice quilts", which involves taking a photo and dividing it into sections for individual people to make a "slice" of it.
Here's Betty Crowell with one of their award winning quilts in Houston! Betty has worked on all of the "slice quilts" that they have made, I think! There's been 7.
This picture has some of the members in it, including Eleanor Meaney who has since passed away and is greatly missed by all.

The Machine Quilters Exposition ladies are in town! They are at a Quilter's Retreat at the Radisson in Plymouth for the weekend and stopped in to shop! Here are Janet-Lee Santeusanio and Mary Schilke along with a few friends!
