"Aunt Mary's Workroom"

Mary Wyman makes wonderful dolls and miniature scenes and one of them is on display at Tumbleweed this month!

The detail is amazing!  Click the pictures to see!!  This scene is called "Aunt Mary's Workroom" and you have got to see it!  Aunt Mary is wearing a necklace and has on a bracelet!  She is sitting in her workroom reading a quilt book.

She has fabric stored under her cutting table and there is a rotary cutter, scissors, and pins on the table  ready to be used!

Check it out!  There is a kitten!  The ott light is plugged in!

It would have been much easier to have a closed sewing basket but this one is open and full of supplies!

Mary Wyman also sells her dolls and does custom orders too!

New Fabric!

Time Flies!!  It's been a busy week with lots of new fabrics!
Some new Westminster fabrics from Kaffe and Brandon have arrived!

These houses seem very "Cape Cod" to me, especially the pastel one!

New juvenile prints from Wilmington!

This panel from Timeless Treasures is back in stock!  It wasn't here long the first time, about a week maybe.

The striped one makes a beautiful table runner!

It's almost planting time!

Time to gather your seeds!

Some more new Westminster!  Some are familiar patterns with new colors!

Baby Quilt

My daughter wanted me to make a baby quilt for another of her friends expecting a baby girl!  She requested pink and gray with animals but keep it simple, just squares.  So, this is it!

She also requested minkee on the back!  Actually she requests that for just about all the quilts for her or her friends!  It's so cozy and soft!! She was very happy with the pink and white print minkee!

We do have the fabric at the shop!  It is part of the Zoology line from Michael Miller.

We also recently received these Michael Miller fabrics!
