Anatomy of a Crab

Sharyn Laughton made these banners to illustrate the anatomy of a crab for Mike Smith at the National Seashore to use for a Summer teaching program for preschoolers!
 She made them large and colorful to appeal to the children.
 She's working on other critters for the upcoming Summer program!

Different!

Jessica Woods-Robinson finished her koi pond wallhanging and brought it in to show us!

Ruth found this treasure in her travels through the estate sale world!  She identified it as an example of Mexican Otomi style and it is really cool!  

 Paula Tuano finished this wallhanging!  She started it in a workshop and is hand appliquéd, quilted, and beaded.

Quilts

Lorraine made this beautiful quilt for her daughter Trish, husband Scott, and son Jason to hang in their stairway!
She had several blocks left over that she turned into beautiful accessories - pillow, tablerunner, and sham!  Perfect for Fall!

Linda brought this quilt in to show us that she made for her daughter!  It was quilted by Maureen of Cobblestone Quilts!


Suzanne Adler brought in her quilt "Miniature Magic" that she started many years ago and finally finished!


Kathryn Butterworth brought in this blue and white quilt top that she just finished!

Kathy Ellam showed us two matching bed runners that she made and had Tricia machine quilt for her!

Pat Mahoney put this quilt together for her grandchild named Willow!  Her Mother, Anna Micke, embroidered the blocks years ago!  

These three bags were all being used by three different women, one of which was Rena Fians who made all three!

Debbie Cole finished her French Braid quilt today!!!  She made it using a "quilt as you go" technique with a little help from Adele.  It looks great!!
