She machine pieced and HAND QUILTED this quilt!!
There's a lot of different designs in the light spaces. Click it to see the stitching better. It's beautiful Ursula!!
Last week we got in this Benartex fabric.
It's really cool!
Terry Curry bought some and already made this purse out of it.
I love her button choice for the closure!

Willie will be teaching a class to make this large tote bag on Sunday, Oct. 3 and Oct. 10. There's still time to sign up!
This is the tablerunner that will be taught on Saturday, Oct. 2. It's from the Patchwork Tablerunners book. The picture doesn't show it very well, but in the corners are leaves done with the applibond technique, which is a good technique to learn that you can use in lots of other projects. It also makes a great gift. I think it would look good with reds in the center part and poinsettias in the corners. Or how about scrappy with flowers in the corners? Click on the picture to make it bigger to see better.
More Jo Morton fabric arrived today!
Here's the rest that arrived. I like the pink floral stripe and the large pink floral prints. They would work well for a "Blended Quilts" look.

Sue Latus made this Spring looking quilt.

This is her tablerunner, too! She's been busy!
This one was made by Toni Ricciardi for a lucky baby!

The Herring Run Quilters' Guild is having their 11th Quilt Show this weekend, September 18-19. Saturday 10 to 5, Sunday 10 to 3. It will be held at the Norwell Middle School, Rt. 123, Norwell MA. This quilt is their Raffle Quilt called NY Blues.
The featured quilter at the show is Bobbie Sullivan. Bobbie is an awesome quilter! She's pictured here along with Betty Crowell and Sandy Gregg (also awesome quilters) with one of their award winning "slice" quilts. To find out more about the slice quilts and who else is involved in making them and to see more of Bobbie's quilts go here
The Shining Tide Quilters from Fairhaven were on the Cape on Tuesday.
They came on a bus and made a stop at Tumbleweed for some fun shopping!
I snapped pictures of some of them showing off their hand made handbags.
As you can see, there was quite a variety!

Ann Mastroianni came in to show us this beautiful quilt she made for a wedding gift!
It has a really nice label. Click it to see a larger picture. It was machine quilted by Micki Heath.
Katherine Butterworth has only the binding to do on her Kaffe house quilt. Laurie LaConti machine quilted it for her.
Remember Glynnis, from England? She came in last September with a cool bag that I put a picture of on my blog? Well she's back on the Cape on holiday and she had another really neat pocketbook!
Here's a closer look. Look at all those beads!
Stay tuned to see next September's bag!
