I can't believe how fast time flies by!  Christmas is here already!  Is everyone ready?
Some people are well prepared, like Dottie Long!  Dottie made this tablerunner for a Christmas gift but she liked it so much that she is going to keep it for herself!

She also made this tree skirt for her son Josh and Cathrine for their wedding gift!

Meredith Harris made this Christmas Tree Wallhanging!  It's from a free pattern from Moda called "Tole Christmas"!

Agie Knowles spent time in class with Adele making this Memory Quilt for her history loving husband!

He is going to love it!!

She also made a cushion for brother with his name spelled out in nautical flags!

 Here it is finished!

Annette McGourty finished up a comfy quilt made with minkee for someone special!
Next year I'm starting early and getting things made and finished!!!
And I am going to post more!!!!
Merry Christmas!!!

Quilts by Kathryn Butterworth

Kathryn Butterworth used mostly Kaffe polka dot fabrics to make this log cabin quilt!

For this one she used the "Catch a Nap" pattern, which looks "bohemian nautical."

Click this one to see better!  It is all different shades and textures of beige and gray tones!  Beautiful!!

Orange and turquoise are the colors for this one!  I always think of Howard Johnson's Restaurant when I see these colors.  They look great together, and I love the little sparks of red in it!

Cheryl Wyndham made this awesome wallhanging showing the Whitman Hanson Regional School that she will hang in her office!

Paula Tuano recreated this picture in fabric from a photo on the cover of a National Geographic Magazine!  (with permission from the photographer of course)
Paula is also working on this purple quilt - not much more hand quilting to go!

Here is another one of Paula's!  Paper pieced from a Judy Niemeyer Pattern!

Lynn Conroy is working on a new Louisa Smith Strips and Curves type wallhanging!

Karla Oates brought in her Kaffe Fassett Bordered Diamonds quilt!

Nice and Bright!!!

Rosalie Leaman is finishing up her Kaffe Fassett quilt in softer bright colors!  I Love the Kaffe Fassett fabrics!!!

Debbie Cole has a peaceful few minutes while her machine embroiders a design on for her one afternoon in the classroom!

What a Deal!!

Beth Stephens brought in these vintage quilt tops to class last Wednesday night so we could see them!

She was browsing online and came across a fantastic deal for a lot that included some bolts of upholstery fabric and a box of miscellaneous sewing trims and things and these 6 quilt tops!!

They are really cool!

I love the anything goes color choices!

This Month On Display

This month we have quilts by Ellie Held on display!

This quilt is a 1930's tied coverlet converted to a quilt!  This was a wedding present to Katherine Held in 1940 and it will be passed on to her Great Granddaughter ,Katherine, as a wedding present. The quilting is beautiful!

This quilt - made with reproduction fabrics - was totally done on her Aunties treadle machine and is Ellie's last hand quilted quilt!

These next ones are reproduction doll quilts!

Next we have quilted vintage linens inspired by Cindy Needham, guest teacher at Bayberry Quilters of Cape Cod for this months meeting next week!  What a great use for linens!

These two were made by Mary Anne Boberg!

Charlotte Tois made this tablerunner!

Here's a closer look!
