Quilts By Yvonne Primavera!

Yvonne Primavera has some of her quilts on display this month at Tumbleweed!

She has been quilting for awhile so there is quite a variety to look at!

"Snobound" is a blast from the past!  This was a favorite at Tumbleweed!  Everyone seems to love this quilt!

Around Town

I was recently in the CAT scan department at Falmouth Hospital and was pleasantly surprised to see that just about all of the magazines that were in their waiting room were quilting magazines!

They were current and recent issues, too.  More waiting rooms should have quilt magazines, don't you think?

If you are in need of stamps, stop by the Martstons Mills Post Office and check out the beautiful Marstons Mills Quilt there on display!

It has blocks with scenes from all around Marstons Mills and is quite detailed!

Leaving Tumbleweed recently I saw a bunch of turkeys coming our way!

There were a lot of them and we all had to wait until they crossed 6A.  I hope they know Thanksgiving is soon!

Tuesdays

In a Scrappy Tuesday II class with Carol Jones, Peg Parker showed her finished medallion quilt!!

Barbara Walsh had her quilt top to show, too!  They made the same quilt using different fabrics!

Carol had this scrappy star quilt to show everyone!

In a Tuesday class with Willie, Marilyn Holle showed two quilts she had made for family members!

Lucky family members!!  They are going to be very happy!

Introducing Paige Foss - the next generation of Tuesday night quilters!!

Quilts!

Judy Embleton brought in this quilt top that she made in a workshop with Kathy Doughty - it is called Big Wedding and we just loved it!!

Alycia brought in this quilt top to show us with help from her son!  She still has borders to put on.

Jeannine Wolfe has finished this Jo Morton quilt!!  It took awhile, but was well worth it - it's beautiful!!

Bill Barrett showed us his cardiac rehab pillow!  It was designed by granddaughter, Magdalena (age 6) and sewn by Grandma!!  It has a drawing of Grandpa playing golf and the backing it a crossword puzzle print because he likes to do crossword puzzles!

Lynn Conroy was busy in the classroom machine quilting her spiral quilt!  One more class session and it will be done!!

Sally Johnson used Athena Fabric by Angela Walters, sold by Art Gallery Fabrics, to make this quilt called Endless Time.  She is finishing it to hang in the Art Gallery booth at Quilt Market.  See more of Sally's work at http://sallysquiltingcorner.blogspot.com.

Barbara LeBlanc has been finishing things up lately!  This one is coming along nicely!

She finished up this hexagon quilt!

Judy made a beautiful appliqué pillow!

Mary Collari finished her dresden plate quilt!

It was beautifully machine quilted by Marjatta Gladding!

Patty's daughter requested that she make this quilt but big enough for her full/queen bed! She is making great progress!

Dot Mitchell finished a black and gray quilt for her daughter!  Marjatta Gladding also quilted this one!

Elsa Sampou went down to Connecticut to Denyse Schmidt's studio to take a class and this is what she made!  I love it!  Her daughters took the workshop with her!
