Katherine"s Quilts

Katherine Butterworth has been busy!  I love gray and yellow lately!  She's almost finished with this quilt top!

This is about her third fish quilt with the big fish fabric!  She's putting some hand quilting in this one!

She's making this one for her friend Janice and was in today to get a back and more fabric for matching pillowcases!

 Her giant hexagon quilt is coming along!  She's using big Kaffe flowers for her colorful garden quilt!

Debbie's Classes!

Scrappy Tuesday

Priscilla made this quilt top in Scrappy Tuesday Class with Carol Jones!

Peg Parker made her's with all solid fabrics for an "Amish" look!

Peg made a second one using reproduction fabrics!

 Nancy Pollard used reproduction fabrics and black fabric!

Karla brought her block back in to show us how she embellished it to represent all the things she loves. It is now being sent to join other blocks being made into a quilt to raise awareness for stage 4 breast cancer patients.

Quilts!

Karla came in and worked with Carol Ayotte on a block that is going into a special quilt for Metastatic Stage 4 Breast Cancer to raise awareness.  The quilt will travel around the country starting in Houston next month.  Contributors to the quilt include women with Stage 4 Breast Cancer from around the world.

Audrey Ward showed us the latest baby quilt she is making for her newest Great-Great Grandchild!!

Patti Anderson has completed her Tumbling Blocks quilt top, made with Batik fabrics!

Kumiko showed us the wallhanging she made!

Jane brought in this beautiful quilt top to show us! She used all Kaffe Fassett fabrics!

Janet's Find

Janet Fournier went to a yard sale recently and found this beautiful red and white quilt!

It is in great condition and done by hand.  

There's a lot of hand quilting and it's interesting!

All around the edges of the quilt there is hand quilted writing.  Here you can see February 1868 quilted on it!

It has the first and last names of a couple and apparently the husband belonged to the "Oddfellows".

What a great find!

Quilts

Karen Schulter made this quilt with winter scenes in the squares!  Click to see it better!

These quilts were all machine quilted by Maryann Bowman!  Some of these pictures didn't come out too clear.  Connie Moore made this one and the background squares are a pretty light green!

 Marilyn Lucas made this one!  It's very pretty, kind of watercolor.

 I wish the pictures were clearer!  I somehow had taken my spare camera home and I forgot to bring both of my cameras that day.  So these were taken by a phone.

Quilts!

 Ellie Ringer's baby quilt is fun and simple and sure to be used and loved!

There is the elephant fabric on the back and dots on the front with four simple words that say a lot!

She needed to pick out binding fabric for it and happened to have this bag she had made to carry it in!

Karen Nourse is working on an applique quilt with pears on it!   

She also has this colorful 30's quilt top she made with a rainbow of colors!

Ann McKinney is putting the borders on a batik lap quilt for a friend!  

Willie finished this baby quilt from a Jaybird Quilts pattern!
