Quilts!

Pat Mangan made this absolutely beautiful quilt for her son and his bride!

Look how big it is! It's king size, but it looks huge! I love the colors in it!
This adorable baby quilt was made by Sandy Checklick for her daughter's friend's baby. It was quilted by Laurie LaConte.
Marcia Burr from Hingham is making this quilt for her niece Maggie. It's called "Tiramisu". It was fun helping to pick out border and backing choices for it. Hopefully we'll get to see it completed, she choose some fun fabrics to use!
Mary Lou MacFadyen challenged herself to make this quilt top using only leftover fabric from a previous quilt. I'd say she won her challenge, it came out awesome!

Halloween's Coming!

Halloween's coming and Carol Ayotte is always ready! Here is her latest witch. I love that the witch is wearing a witch pin and has a pink cape! During Saturday's "Crazy Quilters" Class she helped a few people make their own witches!

We have some new black, white, and red fabrics at the shop.

Janet Vaughn was back on the Cape visiting last week and stopped by. She had this quilt to show us. She loves her new house in New Hampshire but will be back frequently for visits.

Quilts

Barbara Bond made this quilt as a wedding gift for her son and his bride! She let them choose the colors from swatches she sent them and have input on the design. It was a successful collaboration!

Betsy Nadeau is working on this floral quilt. She decided it needed some applique and it looks great!
Mary King wanted to use up some of her vast stash of fabric and this is the result. Actually about a quarter of it. It's a big quilt! I love scrappy quilts!
Nancy Brennen made this quilt for her #1 daughter and had Laurie LaConte machine quilt it. Those colors always seem beachy and peaceful to me.
Carol Schofield made this this quilt with Asian fabric.
The back looks great, too!

Fall Colors

These quilts I'm posting today remind me of Fall, just because of the colors. If it wasn't Fall, I would be calling them Kaffe colors, because he has a lot of fabrics in these tones. This first one was made by Kim Keith and quilted by Laurie LaConte.

This one is Willie's, quilted by Lauri LaConte. The pattern is in the Fall/Winter issue of the Quilt Sampler Magazine and is called Burst of Blooms.

This one is also Stephanie's, who is definitely not afraid of color! I love this one! It's not often that you see an all yellow quilt! There should be more of them, yellow is such a cheerful color!
This one is a Halloween wallhanging. Or, should I say door hanging! It was made by Kathy Meredith and is hanging on her door for the festive Halloween season. What a great idea for a quick holiday wallhanging! Just some quick strips to sew together and you're done! The hearses driving across it are a great use of that fabric! We do have these fabrics at the shop.
