Cori Barrett made a Lone Star Quilt using Kaffe fabrics. I love the quilting in the background!

JoAnne has been busy lately! She has pulled out her hexagons that she hadn't worked on in awhile and is making progress !
She also made this baby quilt. It has jungle animals on it and she came across this gift bag for it that is perfect!
Carolyn Schmitz has been gathering wool sweaters, felting them, and cutting them into random shapes to go together for cozy couch throws!
They are wonderful! Some of the squares are soooo soft! This one would look great on the couch in my sewing room.

Scrappy I

In her Scrappy I Class, Carol Jones issued a challenge for everyone to make a quilt starting with a single block in the center and keep adding borders, all done with 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 strips. Here's some of the results, starting with this one by Debbie Casey.

Debbie Casey also brought along this Bunny Hill block of the month quilt she made. It's all hand appliqued.

Misc.

Carol was in Adele's class today and this is what she made, a sweatshirt jacket for her almost 4 year old granddaughter named Skyler! I meant to take a picture of the back, too. It has a Disney Princess on the back!

Sally Johnson needed batting for this king size quilt she made! It's big! You can see more of Sally's quilts here.
Ruth Banner is almost done with her pinwheel and roses quilt. Everything is looking like Spring to me!
Cheryl Martel came in wearing a jacket she made for herself! It looks so cozy!
She didn't make her bag but it matches perfectly! Here's a back view for you to see!
Okay, I was asked to pass this on. If your machine is making noises you can't explain...check under the throat plate!! Someone was in class last week and had machine trouble and after this little pile was removed the machine just purred. I personally can't say anything about other people's lint, because I am really bad about checking and cleaning mine. Just saying.

Karen Schlueter (on the right) has a cousin who is expecting twin boys! Of course she made a quilt for each of them! Here are two quilts she made, Marlene is holding up one with the front view, and Karen is holding up one with the back view! I love the stripe on the back! It adds interest and makes it more FUN, don't you think?

Here's Marlene Sexton again, this time showing us the baby quilt she finished in Sunday's Quilt-In-A-Day-Class. It is for her granddaughter, Summer!
Ellen Whelan made this quilt using one jelly roll. It is the Easy Does It pattern from the Strip-Tube Book. Ellen works at Bits and Pieces Quilt Shop in Pelham, New Hampshire.
Janet Fournier made this chenille pullover for her granddaughter, Sara. It looks sooo cozy!
Audrey came in to show us the vest she just finished making. It is reversible! Very nice!!
