Megan's

My daughter's friend, Megan, is expecting her first baby and this is a quilt I made for her!

Of course I put minkee on the back! It's so soft!

Her decor theme is navy and pink whales.  I thought the baby might like a pink minkee whale.  Who wouldn't?

I thought a whale would be good in chevron fabric.

I crocheted this whale blanket for her, too.  This is the front.

This is the back.  Reversible!

New Fabric!

Lots of new fabric has arrived lately!

We have Pam Goecke Dinndorf's new line from Frond Fabrics

called "Medusa"!!

Shimmer by Jennifer Sampou!

Some Winter Wonderland from Moda!

Are you grilling this weekend and realize you need a new apron?  Come in and get some "Grill On" fabric from Clothworks so you are ready for the next grilling!

We have some new Halloween fabric from Alexander Henry!

Actually, vampires are pretty year round these days.

While I was up at MOMA to see the quilt exhibit, I passed this painting!  It reminded me of the fabric.

It's never too early to think Christmas!  We have some beautiful metallic fabric from Stof Fabrics.

A lot of it can be used for things other than Christmas, especially the grays.

So come in and check it out!!

Quilts by Anne Walsh!

Anne Walsh has some of her quilts hanging at Tumbleweed this month!

This one is a wedding quilt!  It has old embroidered linens mixed with fabrics that are meaningful to the new couple!

The wedding invitation was transferred to fabric and is also included in the quilt!

These baby quilts are great!  The variety of meaningful fabrics makes them special!

If you haven't been in to see these quilts, stop by soon!
