Quilts by Ruth Wilcox

This month on our display wall we are featuring quilts made by Ruth Wilcox!  Her wallhangings are works of art made with a lot of thought and imagination!!

This one is made using men's ties and features a working bicycle bell!

Her frog wallhanging has a tape measure as a tongue!  You can pull it out and pushing the frog's eye makes it retract!

If you pull on the cords the crabs arms move!

Ruth hand dyes fabric and works with the dyed images created in the dying process to make wallhangings!

Here's another dyed fabric wallhanging!

This quilt was a group effort! The students in Ruth's Wednesday night class each made a quilt row and they presented them to Ruth who then added a bit herself!

You have until the end of the month to come in to see them!  There's more to see!

Kaffe Fabric!

Our Kaffe Fassett fabric shelves are full again!
We have some new wide stripes!

We also added some shot cottons!
