The Bourne Centennial Quilt Project

 

The latest issue of America Quilter Magizine is here!  Inside is an article about the making of the Bourne Centennial Quilt by a group of Bourne Quilters!  The quilt is on display in the Jonathon Bourne Public Library.  We have copies of the magazine so if you don’t have one yet come in and get one!

Carol’s Quilts

 Here are some of Carol Ayotte’s quilts that are on display this month!  Carol will be here at the shop on Wednesday, the 26th from one to three to meet and answer any questions you may have!

 This month we have an awesome display of art by Carol Ayotte!  Carol has a long history of creating art, and a long history of teaching art.  She worked and taught at Tumbleweed for many years and continues teaching currently.  

Carol’s work on display has been described as “fractured fairytale colorful cloth figures and abstract quilts”!  Stop in and see for yourself!

Holly’s Quilt!!

 Congratulations to Holly Santangelo who received a notification saying her quilt was accepted to hang in Houston at Quilt Festival!!  Her quilt was accepted in the Traditional catagory!! It is hand quilted by Holly and also drafted by Holly.  Holly comes to Open Sew on Wednesday nights with Ruth Wilcox.
