I went to see Alice in Wonderland yesterday and loved it! Johnny Depp is a great Mad Hatter!!
It's hard to see in the pictures, but his costume is awesome! I particularly like the "sash" of little spools of different colors of thread across his chest. I do think that would come in handy for any quilter, especially for hand applique projects when you need a variety of colors.
Again, it's hard to see, but he is wearing a thimble on his right hand. You can't see it in this picture, but he is also wearing a pin cushion ring on his left hand, complete with pins. His hat also comes in handy for both hat pins and sewing pins.
With all his tools handy like that, he does get projects done in record time. Check it out, it's a fun movie!
