Ruth has been working on a series of blocks featuring Edward Gorey characters. This one is finished as a wallhanging, but eventually the binding will come off and it will be joined with other blocks to make a quilt. The blocks that I have seen are awesome!
This is another of Ruth's. She dyed the fabric and then stitched and embellished the blue/green circle things to become coral. 
It has bits of lace and beads on it and it's really cool, better in person than in my pictures. Click it for a closer look.
