Happy Turkey Day! Nothing says Thanksgiving like a turkey! If you click the picture to look closer, doesn't the turkey's hat sort of look like a spool of thread?
Up until this year, I had never seen a gang of turkeys roaming the neighborhood. Now they are in my yard frequently. 
They seem very determined and on a specific mission. 
Once in awhile one might stop and check something out, but mostly they pass through the yard on a planned route and later come back the same way. Sometimes on the same day, sometimes a couple of days later. 
It's weird.
Here's some quilts that were shown in Houston that look like they could have been inspired by random gangs of turkeys!
The colors,
the curves,
the pathways, are all very turkey like when viewed while thinking about turkeys.
